SunSports...Netball Tours and Tournaments for Schools and Clubs

SunSports organise Netball clinics for schools and clubs with AENA registered coaches, based in Platja d'Aro, about 100km north of Barcelona. The Netball takes place outside, weather permitting, or indoors if it's TOO hot !
The coaching is done together with other groups in resort and takes the format of a morning and an afternoon session on two days, ie 4 sessions. Extra sessions can be arranged if required.
On the last day there is an all day tournament between all the teams present in resort. Fixtures against local, Spanish, opposition is now available but VERY limited. Click here to see a typical Netball Itinerary.

Adult Netball

For Adult teams, SunSports, in association with SET, organise 2 weekend tournaments. One takes place in June and one in September. With the arrival of RYANAIR flights to GIRONA, you are only 40 minutes from the resort. All coach transfers in resort are included in the price of the tournament. The "Sun, Sea and Sand" adult netball weekends take the following format:

Day 1
Travel to resort
Welcome, briefing, stroll around town
Evening meal, drinks and Disco

Day 2
Day of tournament play
Relax by the pool before dinner
Evening meal, drinks and Disco

Day 3
Day of tournament play
Prize giving and afternoon at the pool
Evening meal, drinks and Disco

Day 4
Free morning for shopping, beach, pool
Check out of hotel
Return travel to UK

Depending on the tournament venue being used, there is a swimming pool on-site or a coach shuttle to take you to the beach where you can relax in the sun between matches.
Accommodation is based in the Palamos and Platja d'Aro area, either in the ApartHotel Palamos with covered swimming pool (depending on time of year), the ApartHotel Sant Jordi, or the Hotel S'Agoita Other accommodation is available if requested.
